Wow! What a busy few weeks we have had. I have a feeling that it is going to be go, go, go until the final day! Make sure to keep those kiddos rested and well fed :)
Announcements:
- The kindergarten picnic on June 12th may be at Little Howe or it may not be :) Please send your child with a sack lunch regardless. We will be doing something!
- Our class color for field day is ORANGE! Start digging around for orange ribbons, headbands, or any other accessories for your kiddos that day. I thought we could all wear our Jog-a-thon t-shirts :)

Readers Theatre!
We have been hard at work preparing sets, props, and practicing lines for our readers theatre performances! What a fun way to celebrate us as readers! I had a lot of fun watching them choose everything from their character, to set design, and to the props for their characters. Below are some shots of them in action and then videos of the performances! I had to post the videos under a private YouTube account because the files were too large. I will only be keeping these videos up until the end of the year.

The bike safety program has begun! Mr. R has been hard at work teaching kids how to ride and how to drive safely on the road. I got the chance to watch the magic in person on Friday! Here's a glimpse of the fun I saw.
Ms. Klope's parents came to visit! Her dad happens to be a taxidermist and puts on a pretty cool wildlife presentation. He had everything from bobcat furs to stuffed owls! Our class was lucky enough to see the show with our reading buddies! Thanks Mr. Klope!
